Oak House – New London Connecticut

Oak House is a two-story residential project located in New London, USA, developed through a comprehensive BIM workflow in Revit. The project included the architectural design and detailed modeling of its complete wood-frame construction system.

The BIM model integrates the architectural layout with the structural framing of walls, floors, and roof assemblies, including studs, joists, beams, headers, and other timber components. This detailed approach allowed the project to be developed beyond architectural visualization, providing a coordinated model that clearly represents both the spatial design and the construction logic of the residence.
